Posted by ayelean on 05:13:30 3/18/2001 This may be the key to the Ramsey case. This subject chose to be secretive before we knew a crime happened. Something is very hinky here and becasue he choses to stay under the radar only adds to the hink. [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 3. "ayelean." Posted by Holly on 07:06:19 3/18/2001 I know someone who feels DP has always been in the "background". This same person absolutely rejects that he could have ever sexually molested his girls or been abusive in any way. And this is a Parkersburg resident who knows the Paughs and Ramseys. But how can anyone except the victim be absoutely sure of that? Anytime a molester is exposed in our county no names appear in the paper, and it's community gossip that usually reveals the perp to have been "someone I'd never have suspected". So I have no trouble with dark secrets (if any exist). I am confused how a well organized, high profile, experienced executive, with a family history of daughters in the limelight, can control himself when his only granddaughter is brutally murdered? Even if he chose to remain mute, why was he never seated alongside Nedra in interviews? Why is he rarely mentioned in books? Why was CAP elected family mouthpiece? Why was Don the reluctant patriarch? [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 4. "Holly maybe because..." Posted by Charley on 07:35:26 3/18/2001 He knew what really happened and refused to take part in the lies and spins of the Ramsey's and other members of his immediate family. He just couldn't bring himself to put his beloved "Patsy" behind bars and ruin the life of his admired son-in-law? I hope, one day he will speak. IMO, I don't believe Don Paugh had anything to do with Jonbenet's death. I believe he is guilty of protecting his immediate family and The Ramsey's for the sake of not wanting to see his daughter's *ss fry in the electric chair....afterall he just lost a grandaughter and probably couldn't stand to lose a daughter too! So far, two episodes - the "Subtract" press conference and the "meditation" with Holverstock, included Paugh. So we could say he's selective. He could have attended the Holverstock meeting with John to encourage an honest "exchange of thoughts". But why would he attend the Subtract event? "Hated Twitch...why hated?" Posted by Charley on 08:35:56 3/18/2001 Twitch...unique diverity is what helps solve a case! Everybody has a opinion, but I assume Holly, as in others, just looks at all angles. That is not a bad thing...exploring helps solve cases too! I'm sorry you feel that way...but try not to take things personally. My thread wasn't meant to discredit anyone...but just a response, my own opinion. The fact remains however, that I don't know who killed JB, but I have my own opinions and I believe a Ramsey committed this murder! I'm cheerful, just synical. I can't help it. I've tried to change but, alas, no luck. I promise I'll keep trying though. Yes, I know. You have to consider all things when solving a case. The personal questions about family members bother me, though. Sorry again. Sparky, stay out of this. Oh yea, the hated part was about how some people feel about a certain sister who has been very vocal. Maybe they don't hate her...ok, they don't like her. I overstated. I know I'm only right about one thing for sure - duct tape does not stay stuck to flesh. It was staging. After 4+ years, I think almost no investigative stone has been left unturned. We seem to have exhausted nearly every theory. The ONLY thing I'm locked solid on is the Ramseys did kill Jonbenet or know who did and are involved. In lots of areas, I can be swayed by good research or great critical thinking/solid argument. This place will sure miss Ruthee. edited to say - Sorry Charley. I mis-spelled your name. Charley - I never knew DP was around for the Subtract /Password Press event until I read here a couple of days ago. I refused to buy or read DOI....can't bare to spend a time on a couple of loser...refuse to belief a word that comes out of their mouths. The Good ole Holverstock, doesn't seem to be trusted or a man of the cloth for that matter either! (IMO) I believe that, because why in GOD's good name wouldn't he have turned in the name of the Jolly ole hitman himself to the BPD? The very man who was suppose to have told him, that he had murdered JB? I mean think about it....If he believed the Ramsey's to be innocence, then he would have been the first one to try to clear the Ramsey name, without revealing to the police who confessed to him? I think, so one confessed to JB's murder to Holverstock....IMO, I believe it was a Ramsey. If it were me in the Ramsey's shoes....then I would be questioning the good reverend and why he chose not to tell the police of a stranger responsible for my daughters murder. Found it curious yet that in the obituary, it wasn't stated that Nedra was survived by her husband Don. Maybe he was shunned by the Paugh woman for not standing up for them! You never heard muchfrom Don about the pageant scene? I wonder if he attended them? earlier on, wasn't it stated somewhere that he wished it wasn't Patsy that was strickened ill...but another daughter? Geez, talk about dysfunctional. Patsy seemed to be his pride and joy. So maybe that is why he doesn't speak up...he knows that Patsy, in his heart of heart, was responsible for JB murder. He probably knows that it was an accidently killing and therefore, can't turn on his daughter. At the same time, he can't speak up and spin like the rest of his family, because he knows.... edited to say he and not I ! Geez, you'll think I'm him.... Posted by rose on 17:22:05 3/19/2001 I had an uncle who was married for 51 years. When his 2 girls were raised and married, he never again lived with his wife full time. He supported her and never divorced her, but they were married in name only. Only people in the immediate family knew this. My Aunt was a handful. She would get her way come hook or crook. If she was mad at the girls, then Uncle Will had better not interfer. He was allowed to go to work and come home. She always got her way, because if she did not she pouted and threw herself around until everyone in the family were miserable. This could be the case with the Paughs. You young people don't understand our generation. The men were raised to care for the family he had. To never abandon his wife, no matter what his feelings were. The just of it was, he had made a marrige bargain and he was morally bound to see it through. If this was the case with DP, then I wish him well and hope he finds a companion who he can enjoy growing old with. [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 32.
