"SCARED" Posted by MrWonderful on 01:18:00 3/23/2000 I know this sounds crazy.I bought my girlfriend a few stuff bunnies and these things are always moved around. The one almost looks alive! As though that's not insane enough,My girlfriend sees these flashing lights.I have seen them too.Three times after the flashing lights,She thought I was in bed with her.(I sleep in my own room) She got alarmed when she reached up to feel my chest and there was a t-shirt on.(I never wear T-shirts) After that she sleeps with the lights on (still).Another thing that's ongoing is a black sedan(black windows) that parks right in front of my apartment.Nobody in or out and it sits there for a while and then leaves. These events have happen at two different places that we have lived. We were offered an old farmhouse in the sticks. My girlfriend said NO WAY.She doesn't work and she be horrified every night til I got home.I'm just wondering,Does anyone believe us? Or just two overactive imaginations? [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ EMAIL MrWonderful ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 1. "scared again" Posted by MrWonderful on 22:18:44 4/07/2000 The black Lincoln was parked in front of my apt. yesterday.I wasn't home,But my girlfriend was because she doesn't work. The most frightening part of the night is when I found numbers written on my post-it pad.I had used the pad the day before so I know it wasn't old scribble. It wasn't my handwriting and I asked my girl about it.She said it wasn't hers. That means someone would have to get in my apt. when she went for the mail.It takes about 5 min. to get the mail because the boxes are all together about 70 yds. away.I'm going crazy.Moving not the answer,Because the same thing happen at my last apt. Whoever it is must have access to a locksmith.I called the police twice and their answer is:We can't do anything til something happens-duh. Hang on to that post-it note. Keep it and anything else you gather. Every single time you see that black Lincoln around, take pictures of it and get the license plate in the photos (a telephoto lens would be good to use if you have one). Put the date and time on the photos. Some cameras have a time/date stamp right in the camera. If you don't have one, you might want to think about investing in one. I'm guessing that this car has dark tinted windows and you can't see inside it, but if you can see inside, get photos of the occupants. Keep a list of dates and times that you see the Lincoln outside. When you or your girlfriend leave the apartment, even for the mail, slip a piece of paper in the door-jamb somewhere above the doorknob (it should be small and not noticeable from outside the door - business cards work well in some door-jambs). If it isn't there when you return, call the police to accompany you when you return to the apartment. Explain to them what has been happening and why you are concerned now (because you set up this 'trap' and it seems your apartment has been entered while you were gone). If you have access to a video camera that you could set up to record your door area while you're away, that really would be ideal. (Think of the parents who have caught bad babysitters that way!) You might be able to buy one inexpensively at a pawn shop. The police really *can't* do anything unless something happens. But this means that if something is missing from your apartment, they could do something. If it seems your apartment has been searched, if things are a mess, they can do something. If you find anything there that isn't yours, they can do something. In the meantime, document everything. It wouldn't be a bad idea to keep all your documentation at a location other than your own home. Perhaps you have family in the area who would store this information for you? Be careful and please keep us informed. [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 5. "Chris" Posted by lecarl on 08:59:13 4/13/2000 I can't get on the JBR forum. Last night I got into a little problem with one of your moderators and she kicked me off--I thik she did something to my password, but not sure. Is there any way you can fix it so I can get back on? I can read the forum, but when I try to post I get an Internal error or something likethat. IF YOU KICKED ME OFF FOR SOME REASON, WOULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT i DID? That's about the damndest thing I've ever heard, well, with the exception of some of the stuff next door lately. As long as one of those bunnies doesn't end up in the spaghetti pot, he'll be o.k. V.
