"EVIDENCE 7: Child's footprint in wine cellar" Posted by Ginja on 14:36:32 5/05/2001 A small (child-sized) footprint was also found in the wine cellar. Were those same materials found on the soles of her feet? I remember something about fibers (from the blanket?). Another thing to look into is all this mold Smit talks about. If she walked through that room that night and left a footprint, I'd think mold would be on her feet as well. We also know that a child's palmprint was found on the door (or jamb) of the wine cellar, and later identified as JonBenet's. The relevancy question here is when were the prints left? If there aren't any, than either JonBenet walked down there with her shoes on or it's not a print from the actual time of the murder. If she had shoes on, than how do we know she was ever put to bed? I would think the lab could tell from measuring her for and the print if it's actually her print. Anyone know Patsy's shoe size? I bring this up because I have very small feet. In fact my new doctor told me less than two weeks ago he has seen babies with feet bigger than mine - he was being facetious of course. "The last report" Posted by Gemini on 16:07:47 5/05/2001 (and possibly the only report) we've heard about her feet was that there was dust and fibers on her soles. That may have been from ST's book, but I don't definitely remember the source and am not going to drag that darned book out again this weekend. "JR" Posted by Ginja on 16:12:08 5/05/2001 NOTE: This message was last edited 16:12:08, 5/05/2001 Perhaps if Patsy took her foot out of her mouth long enough, we'd be able to figure out her shoe size! LOLOL Edited to add, however, that I agree with you as to the pictures. I can't make out any prints of anything except for the one bit of a closeup that has a partial sole marker. Kids follow workers around all the time, and I wouldn't be surprised if the mystery palmprint didn't belong to one of the men who put the trees in there. What is relevent, is that JB had to have worn a coat along with shoes, and how she didn't wake up when they were removed, is a mystery to me. JR said he took her shoes off, but WHO took her jacket off, and why didn't she wake when that happened? Wouldn't they remove her jacket before her shoes? If there were more than one shoeprint of anyone's, it'd be important, like the pattern of prints to the gate at Bundy, somewhat consistent and not a match to the victims. I seriously doubt the floor was cleaned in that week, lol. Those prints could have been there for 3 yrs, for all the housekeeping done around that joint:-) [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 5. "Interesting Edie" Posted by JR on 16:16:43 5/05/2001 "JR said he took her shoes off," yet no one mentions the jacket. Let's keep in mind JR and Patsy had access to the evidence before saying much of anything. [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 6. "and how come" Posted by Edie Pratt on 16:25:06 5/05/2001 we STILL DON'T KNOW what JR wore that night? Or Burke? Just Patsy in beaver and black...did the cops get a chance to go thru their wardrobes, or did they let CAP clean up without ever looking? JR's entire closet could be filled with brown cotton fibers, and we're just hearing about different fibers now? The way the family tells it, they walked into the hellhole like zombies, all going directly to their rooms and shutting off the lights...nobody stopped to take their winter parkas off, or their boots. Straight to bed, good night nurse! Devil's in the details... [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 7. "Edie" Posted by Ginja on 16:29:30 5/05/2001 Which mystery palmprint are you talking about? The small child's palmprint on the wine cellar door was identified as JonBenet's. Another palmprint on the wine cellar door was identified as Patsy's; a third print on the door to the train room was identified as also belonging to Patsy. Smit talks about the patio door from the butler's panty...I'm not sure if that's the west patio door. The print there was identified as belong to John Ramsey. Another print on that same door was identified as Barbara Fernie's. [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 8. "for months" Posted by Edie Pratt on 16:31:45 5/05/2001 we discussed an unidentified palmprint on the door jamb or the cellar. Guess that mystery was cleared up... "Footprint" Posted by Jellyjaws on 16:52:47 5/05/2001 Guess this is an example of what Schiller meant when he said many of Smit's "clues" are undated. It doesn't mean a thing when you think of it. Posted by Jessa Ash on 20:04:00 5/05/2001 Didn't LHP and her *family* set up the Christmas trees while the Rams were out of town? That would be the first place I would look at to match the foot print. The fact that there was only one footprint leads me to believe that it was older, and the other prints (or partial prints) had been gone over until they had been "erased". When was the last time that you left a single, full footprint? At the very least, a person generally leaves a full print, then 1-2 partials. That's a major facet in my reasoning that the child's footprint and the hi-tec print are not from the night of the crime (or the next morning, for that matter).
