"Thank You Leeza" Posted by Ruthee on 20:07:31 5/21/2000 Candy Rose was kind enough to post this communication that was sent to the Leeza Television Show. .............. "On Tuesday next, you will be taping 4 women who follow the Ramsey case on the internet. Many others on the net are quite concerned that people in the audience, indeed across America, will judge all of us by the few you have on your show. I assure you that the people who will appear at the studio on Tuesday do NOT represent all of us. The people you will have on as guests represent the "lynch mob" faction of on-line posters. They are cruel, vicious people who are looking for their 15 minutes of fame. They will give you a good show, but remember, it is just a show and those women are NOT speaking for anyone else. I caution you that I will be taping the show, and I will be paying close attention to anything that is said about me. If you want to talk about the TimeLine, that it is a very detailed TimeLine and a great way for people to learn about the case, go for it. If you want to say I believe the Ramseys are innocent - have from the beginning, that is fine. If you want to say I moderate an open forum where everyone can read and post as long as they remain civil to other posters, the WEBBSLEUTHS forum, then say that. But the guests on your show are discussing whether or not they should bring up my name, and part of that conversation includes whether they should try to sell me to you as a Ramsey family member, (I am not), an employee hired to support them on-line, (I am not), or to try to totally discredit me with their spin on who I am and what I do.. I suggest you make them document anything they intend to ascribe to me. You have lawyers? Alert them to this request. Thank you, jameson" ............................ I can tell you that I did not have to read this information on the Candy Rose forum to learn of It's existance. I was told of several communication sent to Leeza by this person. The producer of the show told me. For those who may not have followed this murder for a long while you may want to know that it never entered my mind to discuss the person who sent the e-mail. I would also like to mention that the persons who did appear on the show, Mrs Brady, Jan, Chris, and myself never discussed the person who wrote the message prior to appearing on the show. The Leeza producer never mentioned the person, other than the fact that the e-mails were received. I was not ask or did I ever intend to appear on the show as a "psychic". During the time of my appearance, Dorthy Allison appeared regularly on the show with her impressions of the case. I believe that one of the reasons that I was ask to appear is that I was among the group of persons who made the trip to Boulder. I have no idea what the suggestion was made that I would be speaking for anyone else. I know each person who expressed an opinion on any matter during that taping was giving their own thoughts and opinions. The reason I bring this up is to explain how foriegn this type of speculation is to me. It would never enter my mind that the person who wrote the e-mail would be discussing me during any event she was invited to attend. Another thought that would never enter my mind is to write to the host and refer to any of my work connected to what was being discussed. I notice new "hats" appearing that appear to be interested in the Ramsey murder. I see a hat called "B", and I see the games continue. Obviously this is a take-off on Mrs. B. I also notice a hat called "foster". Obviously a take-off on Professor Foster. I notice a hat called "kimba". Obviously a take-off on the name Simba. More. I'm a little confused (because that letter was a rambling piece of ___). Is this about an upcoming show -- this Tuesday? And if so, who's going to be on? "The Jameson Phenomenon" Posted by Tedleg on 21:06:36 5/21/2000 NOTE: This message was last edited 21:06:36, 5/21/2000 One of the more amazing sidelights of this sad case is how much Jameson has insinuated herself (finally we are sure she's a herself) into this case. I'm not sure how much of it was intentional but, as far as the web is concerned, Jameson is a major player in this case. I bet, in terms of internet discussions regarding the murder, Jameson's name has come up more than anyone except PR and Jr (and of course JBR). When I think back at her initial halting, and sometimes pathetic posts, I wonder, how in the hell did this happen? In the early days of the JBR forums, before Justice Watch and even before J-7, Dan Trevino's ran an early forum where Jameson weighed in with her views, starting, as I recall, two or three months into the case. I have a distinct memory of feeling bad about how I treated her one night during that time period. I didn't flame her (I have never, ever flamed anyone, even you SOB's who deserved it, lol), but I teased her a bit about her views and she took it very personally. I thought, "Gee, I'll treat that one with kid gloves from here on out." Then, I get busy at work and come back three months later and suddenly all of the forums are rife with discussions regarding Jameson. Suddenly, she's a celebrity! I really couldn't believe it. I still can't. The old posters from BNF (you were one, weren't you ruthee?) May be able to shed light on this. But one of the more intriguing questions for me regarding this case is how in the hell did Jameson become what she did? I suspect she was fueled by the hate which others felt for her, which should be a lesson to us all, I suppose. [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 4. ""T"" Posted by Ruthee on 21:32:43 5/21/2000 NOTE: This message was last edited 21:32:43, 5/21/2000 She became a "celebrity" because she posted information as a fact that she could have no way of knowing without inside information. In the early days of the Ramsey Murder you could find no discussion on the internet sans a "Jameson" post. She was everywhere all the time. You could wake up at two in the morning and post something and lo and behold she would be right behind you. At first jokes were made that she never slept, then people came to realize that there was more than one "jameson." There were many indications of that. During the early postings she was a "he" and because the topic of discussion through the the number of her posts. During the month of Feb of 97 she posted close to 600 posts on various forums. Jameson became a pariah when she announced to her "friends" in a chat room that she was in fact a female. I'm sure you have seen the bizarre stories he told that evening. I was there so I know what she said. She denied all posts that later came to embarrass her and attempted to cover her mistakes with bigger mistakes. I believe within the three months that you mention, she and those who posted under the name Jameson were in so deep that it was obvious to all that she had an agenda, and many suspected what I now feel that I know is a strong connection and direction from the Ramsey family. She and those posting under her name have continually placed themselves or have been placed by others, in contact with each and every important suspect, investigator, lawyer and reporter involved in the Ramsey murder. Her excuses and rational were superficial at best. I knew very early on, sometime in Feb of 97, that some of the impressions and suggestions she put forth could not have originated in the mind of a female.
