Did Patsy leave the house after they returned home from the Whites and delivering presents. Did any person present at their house go out? 2. Was Laurie Wagner at their house that night or did she see any member of the Ramsey family on 12/25/96? 3. Who were the six in the house that Patsy referred to on CNN? 4. Was there a 911 call made from the Ramsey house on the morning of 12/26...prior to the one made at 5:52? (not the xmas party one) 5. What color was the shirt that Jonbenet was put to bed in. Did anyone in the Ramsey family change her clothes? Do they think the killer put on the White sweater? 6. It was implied ..but they did not say that Burke was in bed....Was Burke in his room..or even in the house...when Patsy ran through the house looking for jonbenet on the morning of 12/26? (John interrupted Patsy and they only said they LOOKED in their sons room, they never said he was in there). 7. Why did they ask John's Broker (Westmoreland) to come to Boulder the day of the murder? They had no need for money...Did he bring them any money? 8. DO THEY think anyone could have come through the basement window...and if so...which one? ( I think we should pose lots of questions concerning the sexual nature of the crime which they can't easily answer "I don't know" to. They will prolly answer "I don't know" to the above question....BUT, the public has now been informed. We need to inform the public about the lies, the sex, the changes of stories. To ask, "Did you kill JBR"? accomplishes nothing. As an interviewer, I would never ask that question. Of course they're going to say no to that. But what would they say if we asked, "Why did you change your story about what time your got home"? Again, we'd hear spin, but the public would start to ask itself why indeed. Larry, if you read here, for God's sake, inform yourself - read Thomas's book. And then read the sex abuse threads here. A debate - how fruitless perhaps, between master manipulators and a man who actually ignores the sexual aspect of the crime as well as JR's big time complicity in it. HOWEVER, intelligent questions could still enlighten the public. IMO Gosh, when I fill in for Larry........:-) [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 5. "PS" Posted by Seashell on 09:40:39 5/30/2000 To ask questions that they can answer yes or no to is a waste of breath. They will simply deny everything. To ask questions that force them to explain their contradictions are more likely to upset them. To ask questions about sex will definitely upset them. "Did you know how badly your daughter's hymen was stretched out? How do you think that happened." To ask questions that have not been asked on TV before will blow them away. To ask questions that have been asked a billion times before would be a waste of time. The element of surprise is the key here. Mrs. Ramsey, are you aware that people think that if you're SO SURE Burke wasn't involved, you must then know FOR SURE who was? How do you explain that? The Rams should thank their faux Christians stars that I don't ask some of the questions! Make them talk, make them explain, make them try to defend their lies. Make it hard for them. But with LKL and ST, I doubt we'll get much more than pablum. [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 14. "Questions From La C." Posted by La Contessa on 10:21:01 5/30/2000 NOTE: This message was last edited 10:21:01, 5/30/2000 If you had discovered, on that Christmas night, that Burke had killed JonBenet, what would you have done? What did you do when LHP and "various friends" told you that Burke and JonBenet had been caught playing sex games ("doctor")? Dr. Meyer, medical examiner who performed JBR's autopsy states, in the report, that some of JBR's vaginal injuries were "Acute," and some were "Chronic." "Chronic" means occurring before the night of the murder. JonBenet was obviously being sexually abused. Who do you think was doing it? Burke's voice, on the enhanced version of the 911 tape, is clear. He is clearly speaking and not "in bed, asleeep" as you have stated. Why do you persist in lying about this fact? "Becky" Posted by Ruthee on 10:33:35 5/30/2000 I have to disagree with you. Anytime the Ramseys open their mouth, they dig a deeper hole. The more they talk the better for JonBenet. Some examples from the RSBT (Ramsey Stine Bennett Team): "What if JBR had been found outside of the house? At a distant location, such as in the foothills? Would that have been ok, and a reason not to suspect the Ramseys? There wouldn't have been tiremarks, since the driveway is close to the alley, and the driveway shovelled." ........................ How does this innocent "interested" poster know that the Ramsey driveway is "shovelled?" ................................. "There were a lot of ingredients that could indicate the crime is what it is. A family with money, with JR being publicized in the paper, and JBR's reputation as a small beauty queen;....." ............................ That's interesting. A "small beauty queen" as opposed to a large beauty queen? ................... "Even if the Ramsey's had awoken, they would have been stunned and offguard---and the intruder could have had any number of exits scoped out ahead of time....he also had a stun gun, and perhaps a bat." ............................. You can bet your life that the "intruder" didn't have a stun gun or a bat. ......................... "I do think the intruder had some familiarity with the house and family---but even that wouldn't have been an absolute. There was no reason to remove JBR once the intruder had seriously injured her---in fact, there would have been more evidence that could connect the intruder to JBR, had he taken her in a vehicle (if he had one)." .......................... You can bet the "intruder" was familiar with the family. You can also bet that "he" had a "vehicle.".........and then there is: "There was no reason to remove JBR once the intruder has seriously injured her." I don't think I have to explain this statement....just think about it." .................... "There's also the possibility JBR could have identified him, so once things got out of hand he didn't want to leave a living witness." ..................... My, my RSBT, are you telling us that JBR had to be killed so she couldn't tell what was done to her? Are you suggesting that that is the reason why the "intruder" killed her after seriously injuring her? Is that it? ......................... So Becky, let's let them keep talking. "Rs vs Thomas" Posted by Ryder on 11:09:38 5/30/2000 I gotta say that any such exchange between ST and the Rs on LKL has to be looked at from a "public relations" perspective. If the Rams agree to such a meeting, you can bet that it is for public relations purposes and image propping. They will be playing to that objective alone and since this is what matters to them, all moves from those who are interested in advancing the investigation should be aware of the media relations issue and not play to lose in that area. Media relations or publicity issues are at the forefront because they touch on the crucial area of credibility. While most of us on this forum know a great deal about this case, ST's approach to this on CNN also has to keep in mind the general public's awareness. The accusations at the heart of the Ram/police war involve the issue of cooperation and of police "abuse" or "bullying" tactics which the Rams use to justify the limited amount of cooperation which they have provided to the police. The Rams would win this public debate if ST or any present or former member of the BPD used the meeting to vent their accumulated frustrations (well-justified I might add) re: the Rams in such a way as to sound like they were "bullying" the Rams. ST will win this public debate if, through his comments and questions, he can make the public see that the Rams have not co-operated with the police AND that there is no good reason for them to have mistrusted the BPD and continue to do so. I would hope that the average viewer (whose knowledge of the case limits itself to the basics) would come away from this debate not understanding the Rams refusal to work with the police and the FBI, rather than feeling that, on the basis of the exchange they just witnessed, the Rams are justified in not helping the police. As such, I feel that questions and comments have to be weighed against these issues: they should be direct, straight to the point but not seemingly motivated by hostility and animosity. IMO. If such an encounter were to take place, I believe that the stakes are enormous because, at issue, is the public's support of either the Rams or the police in their war against one another. Were I ST, I would go in there very prepared and with some clear objectives in mind. And no matter how angry I might be justified in feeling towards the Rams, I would ask tough, relevant questions but not in too an aggressive mode. If by watching such a debate, the public comes away with the feeling that the poor Rams are clearly the victims of police aggression, 1] They will have won the debate 2] They will feel justified in not co-operating any further with the police (will feel backed up by the public) 3] We will never hear from them again (they will have gone out in victory) 4] The case (for lack of public support) will be shelved. 5] The police will be villified and the Ram stance justified in the public eye. Thus, IMO, such an LKL interview would not be the forum to solve the case, but rather at best, it should seek to identify clearly whose stance has been reasonable, the Rams or the police. That said, I am hoping that LK himself WILL ask some tough questions (since HIS image is not at risk). I predict that many questions will focus on the recent event of the polygraph and so I think it would be good for us to suggest some good questions on this polygraph issue. There would be no stopping ST from asking such questions either. [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 26. That means that all three people debate the same points: 1. What is the proper way to freshen one's makeup after a night of garotting and note-writing? 2. Which is better -- a call to 911 when a child is in danger or a call to friends when the parents are in danger? 3. Considering the poverty in most countries of the world, starvation in many countries of the world, and excessive taxation in a few countries of the world, which is more important -- blue paint in the living room or a white sweater on a dead daughter? 4. When choosing a lawsuit to pursue, what name as a defendant is most likely to bring the highest settlement terms? 5. When arranging a post-burial party, is it best to invite police officers or let them "come as they are, as they wish"? 6. When arranging a post-murder party (prior to the arrival of the second round of guests, which will include police officers), which is better -- cleaning the house to hide unsightly soiling or preparing left-over pineapple to serve the guests? 7. For that last, definitive head-bashing, which is more effective -- a right-hand swing or a left-hand swing? 8. When preparing for an appearance on national television, which is more effective -- acting lessons from Kevin Costner or fact-memorization lessons from George W. Bush? 9. Which is more cost-effective -- hiring private investigators to relentlessly pursue the murderer of one's daughter, or free appearances on national television in which one is able to attempt to pursuade the public that one is NOT the murderer? 10. When cooperating with police officers, which is most effective -- appearing to be stupid, asleep or a smart-ass? I love fireworks. Don't you?
