"Boyles - Friday" Posted by Byron on 04:16:16 6/02/2000 PB - Today's show is going to be about tattooing, but for those who can't get enough, we will have Steve Thomas on to talk about what happened the other night. (He didn't say what time, so who knows if I'll be reporting it) [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 1. "cont" Posted by Byron on 04:54:03 6/02/2000 PB - Lin Wood says the days of interrogation for the Rams are over. Bob Grant was great last night. Darnay Hoffman wants to have on his tombstone, "all of the people all of the time". (Besides Steve's appearance, it's a tattoo day) [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 2. Posted by sabrina on 07:04:05 6/02/2000 NOTE: This message was last edited 07:04:05, 6/02/2000 S:it was a difficult situation for them, I felt it went ok, but I had a hard time even trying to speak. I had several questions I would have liked to ask. P: When you got to the real issues, she can't handle it. (talking about the paintbrush) S: I wanted to come out with the pineapple, fibers. Two important points came out. They have now admitted the ransom note writer is the person who murdered JB. They also agreed to go into the police department. They now are putting on conditions. Until they go in and submit to questioning and satisfy the police they are not involved, they will remain the focus. P: Did John have alot of makeup on? S: They put alot of makeup on you for the camera, but I noticed that as well. P: Did they acknowledge you? S: John did not. Patsy did acknowledge a few minutes before the show. P: Between breaks? S: Very uncomfortable. Little was said but later Patsy warmed up to me and suggested we had to work together to find the killer. S: Anytime they go in the public forum, these are on the record. I hope everything they say from Dallas to Larry King is going in the case file. P: Lawsuit coming? S: I will defend myself. P: You'll have alot of help. What happened when it was over? S: Everyone went their own ways, nothing was said. P: Did King say anything off air S:No, he is a very polite man. Just shook my hand. That's it..... Jams, please do not copy this for your forum. Don't you have enough followers that can take time out from their beer collecting to transcribe? "attorney in a civil suit" Posted by Cher on 07:46:12 6/02/2000 If the Rams do indeed sue Steve Thomas (JR: cock a doodle doo!), I wonder who will represent him. Will his publisher provide an attorney? Since it is related to the book, that is a likely possibility. That is not a good option for the case, however. What publishers and other business entitites usually seek to do in a lawsuit is settle it and get it out of the way. Even if they have to pay a little, they don't mind because it is less expensive than going to trial. Will an attorney step forward on behalf of ST? That, too, is a likely possibility. Dan Petrocelli of OJ civil case fame has been mentioned as someone who would be a good match for the Ramsey attorneys in a civil trial. Wouldn't that just be oh-so-delicious? Of course, many people would like to see DH in this situation, but IMO he carries too much baggage for the ST case. He would be a good adviser and co-strategist, however. Byron, thank you for the transcripts this a.m. Cher . [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 10. "Steve Thomas - Why not contact Petrocelli NOW?" Posted by CommonSense on 08:05:47 6/02/2000 Maybe Steve Thomas has a defamation claim against the Ramseys. Even if he doesn't, he needs to get a good civil attorney in his corner. I've heard Petrocelli say that he would represent Geraldo if he gets sued. Why not Steve Thomas? DANIEL M.
