Posted by Dr. Who on 07:43:08 6/22/2000 NOTE: This message was last edited 07:43:08, 6/22/2000 watching the Sackel thing evolve...the defensers on Rivera LIVE! the other night seem to think even if M.S. did it(*do* Martha Moxley)that by waiting 20 years to prosecute the state has no right to prosecute...so much for their/AH notion that even if it take twenty years to bring JBR's killer to *Justice* that will be the well worth the *Price* (of Justice?). Wendy Murphy(? I can't remember if this is her correct name- former Boston area prosecutor) seemed to think Henry Lee found *Human Genetic Material* (sperm) on the deceased clothing...still none of the defensers were talking *Murder*...not expecting much from either case unfortunately... p.s. dixie- there are too many of us still around that witnessed the ò¿ó *vision* of seeing JBR's murder spread via the internet for *them* to be taken very seriously about finding JBR's killer here...as the internet's authorities on kiddie porn and intruders perhaps they should introspectfully scrutinize their own ranks IMO... "I guess" Posted by Sioux on 07:48:56 6/22/2000 what I don't understand is : IF A.H. was being investigated for obstruction of justice by the FBI (according to Thomas book), how come there hasn't been any "official" information about it, or about the outcome of it? IF A.H. is suspected of obstruction of Justice, why doesn't he quit? Why isn't he FORCED to quit? Who runs this circus? Maybe it's not that Boulder belongs to the twilight zone, maybe it's the whole state of Colorado that does. After all, it IS a pretty CRIME FREE state. Maybe they are proud of that? And (forgive my questioning due to my foreign amazement) IF the FBI is in charge of at least SOME portion of investigation regarding this case, what in the heck are they doing? They can "investigate" but not talk, inform the public, push Alex OUT ? If their jurisdiction is so limited, why do they do anything at all? To raise expectations of hope? Are they sadists? If they are waiting for "something to happen" that we are not aware of, what are they waiting for? Godot? Sioux [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 7. "FBI Involvement..." Posted by shadow on 08:47:32 6/22/2000 I do not believe ST said in his book that the FBI was investigating AH for obstruction of justice - I believe ST wrote in his book that some Agent(s) (over a few beers) said he should be. Also, given the fact that no one believes a "small foreign faction" was involved in the death of JBR, I do not believe that the FBI has any jurisdiction (reason to lead) the JBR case investigation. It appears that this is a local crime to be investigated and prosecuted by local authorities - the FBI can assist when called upon. In fact, it is my understanding that the FBI has been assisting in the investigation, whenever asked, since they were finally called upon for help by the BPD - it is MHO that the DA's Office has never been "fired-up" about FBI involvement (who knows why) and the FBI has little love for the DA's Office. Finally, the FBI could be investigating MW allegations that involve child abuse, child porn, and other crimes that cross state borders. shadow [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 8. "Bump..." Posted by shadow on 13:43:44 6/22/2000 For Sioux... And, BTW, has anyone heard anything recently from MW's lawyer? Is she still in danger? And, if so, is anyone looking out for her safety - the FBI or US Marshalls? Is she still in Colorado, has she returned to California, or has she moved to a secret location? shadow [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 9. "Questions & Answers" Posted by Seeker on 14:51:21 6/22/2000 Dr Who, maybe I misunderstand, but "the defensers on Rivera LIVE! the other night seem to think even if M.S. did it(*do* Martha Moxley)that by waiting 20 years to prosecute the state has no right to prosecute". Say what!? There is no statute of limitations on murder. No right to prosecute? Who are they fooling, other than themselves that they have any knowledge of the laws concerning murder? I wonder if these people were "paid" for their "opinions". What a crock! no right to prosecute... (JMO) Shadow, the FBI could take this case over at any given time if they believe that the BPD and/or DA's offices obstructed justice. There seems to be a lot of professional impropriety here. Since this started as a "kidnapping" the FBI was involved immediately. If it's ever proven that the Ramsey's deliberatley pulled a fraudulent kidnapping the FBI can prosecute them. Defrauding the Government is serious business. Sioux, the DA's and BPD's offices are under close scrutiny and may yet face prosecution by the federal authorities. I have this from a good, reliable resource. One dept in the FBI deals specifically with improper, local, police proceedures and impropriety.
