"SO MANY LIES SO LITTLE TIME" Posted by Ruthee on 09:24:52 7/11/2000 It's very busy at the Ruthee house right now so I don't know when I can get to it, but I will get to it. I see that the Ramsey Family has instructed Susan Bennett to put up some web pages to suggest that the Truman Capote book In Cold Blood, promoted a copy-cat crime. I've already taken care of that idea with my web page on The Lindbergh kidnapping note and communications. I also see that there is a web page with a "theory" on what caused the fracture. I usually don't go this far but the page is ridiculous. The suggestion that a flashlight would make the type of fracture indicated in the drawing is ignorant. I see no supporting documentation to back up the claim. I plan to do a drawing with information from Dr. Spitz just as soon as I have time, but I can't do it within this week. I also have a pretty good suggestion as to where the remainder of the cord is. I no longer believe it went out with the painting. I still think part of the tape went out with the painting. I suppose I have to be the one to tell you to get your priorities straight and forget the Ruthie household to concentrate of usususususususus. No, just kidding. Really. I am, however, very anxious to learn about the cord. Oh, the stuff that went out of that house with Pammie. The wealth of evidence, brazenly carried out and placed in a police car and delivered, no less, to the Rams. I could beat my breast, but alas, it wouldn't help. And to think the cop even had to stop and buy the fat witch a happy freaking meal and a diet something. Arrogance runs in that family. But, enough, I await your next missive. "Hi again" Posted by Ruthee on 11:56:16 7/11/2000 Mr. Ruthee goes in for conference with the surgeon tomorrow. We had a scare. Numb fingers and blurred vision. He's on meds and and home now, but I'm checking on him every minute it seems. He is at the store, but I'm calling all the time. He had the MRI and also CAT scan and I don't know yet, the results of the amount of blockage. I'm hoping they can disolve the blockage in his neck with meds, but I'm not counting on it. On top of that My dad had another bleeding episode, but Thank God that has stopped. When it rains it pours. Sometimes I wish I could just crawl under the bed and hide, but no dice. That's not all, but enough. When it rains, it pours. I'm trying to get the house ready in case I have to care for Mr. Ruthee at home. He has good people at the store, so at least I don't have to worry about that. Anyway, back to your question. Susan has the information listed on her page under "new website", I think. Anyway the links are on there. The link showing the damage that could be caused from the flashlight couldn't be farther from the actual case. We're not talking about a piece of glass here. "Thanks Anderson" Posted by Ruthee on 16:28:52 7/11/2000 Gaiabetsy: Yes it's the carotid artery. I have to admit that I didn't read the In Cold Blood stuff, but I read the book years ago, and I've had a copy of the movie forever. Trust me, there is nothing in this murder of the entire Clutter family that resembles the murder of JonBenet Ramsey. The Clutter murders were motivated by money. The killers heard about what they thought would be a great deal of money in the house while they were in prison. The money story turned out not to be true by the way. I know that case as well as I know Susan Bennett, and that means I'm an "expert" on Kooks. I've been meaning to present some thoughts on the skull fracture, but it takes mucho work (I have to look the stuff up) and I've been putting it off. I started it once before last Christmas on Paint Shop 5 and then got 6 for Christmas and deleted it, I wish I hadn't now. You live and learn. Don't ask me why I did that. Even the 'facts' of the comminuted fracture are all off. It wasn't a lot of pieces, or even a few pieces...it was one. The bone along the ridge of the fracture was pulverized. No matter how I look at it, there had to be some kind of protrusion to cause that comminuted fracture within the linear. A straight pipe couldn't do it. [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 17. "Ginja" Posted by Ruthee on 17:01:54 7/11/2000 I'm a lay person in every area that I post an opinion regarding this case. I don't know where or how they come up with these "theories" that are so far off the wall. I guess even off the wall is fine if you can find something, anything to back up your thoughts. Is there no obligation to give even one ounce of rational thought behind what you (the collective) present? It may be wrong, but can't these presentations contain something to guide someone to find out a little more on their own to make up their own mind? I can't help but think that Susan Stine, or the Ramsey family feeds this crud to Susan and she picks it up and runs, she couldn't believe it. Maybe I give her too much credit, but I doubt it. When I go back over my web pages I find thoughts and presentations that I now find to be wrong. I feel that with the information I had at the time they had some merit. I have left the information there on purpose. The pages are dated and that's what I thought at that time. The more you study the more you progress. Susan Bennett keeps progressing back from whence she came. I thought the Velvet Glove was dead and buried, I see that it is alive and well upon the hand of one who continues her search for identity. "Two things, Ruthie" Posted by Watching you on 05:28:05 7/12/2000 First, your husband. My mom had a series of mini-strokes about six years ago. They were very subtle and affected her speech only briefly. My daddy was alive then, and he summoned help immediately of course. Her carotid arteries were substantially blocked and she needed surgery. The doctor did tell us it can be risky, but mom made it through just fine, suffered no long-term memory losses or speech impediments, and is alive and kicking today. Second, Capote's IN COLD BLOOD - I read it years ago. Bennett and the gang have been throwing that theory out for some time, but I never in a million years thought anyone would take it seriously. They are hopelessly lost over on moron mountain, as you know, and this is further proof of that. There is no relationship between the two cases, but desperate people, you know... "Ruthee" Posted by chebrock on 08:55:26 7/13/2000 Ruthee, I hope everything works out well for your husband and father. My mother had surgery on her cartoid artery and it was pretty much a breeze. After the surgery she felt great! I just finished Wecht's book and he believes it was either a flashlight or a golf club that caused the blow to the head. Toward the end of his book he goes through his reasoning as to how those objects fit into the physical features of the wound. Personally, I don't think anyone could swing a flashlight in such a way as to administer a blow as hard as the one to JonBenet's skull. It would take alot of strength. Thanks for all you do to keep this case alive and on the right track. [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 28. "Thank You Everyone" Posted by Ruthee on 10:01:48 7/13/2000 NOTE: This message was last edited 10:01:48, 7/13/2000 The most important thing to me is the positive attitude I see from Mr. Ruthee and his confidence in the Dr. He is in great spirits and that is a Godsend to me. All he talks about is being able to make his Montana hunting trip in Sept. He loved all the e-mail he got from his harem on the net. :-) That has been so much help. Back to the golf club and flashlight. I guess either could work, but as I think of it now I lean toward the golf club. The reason has already been mentioned. I think even a man would need more leverage Than available with the flashlight handle. I also go for the golf club because John asked for his golf clubs after he left the house. I can understand him thinking about them later, but not so soon after the death of his daughter. Same reasoning goes for Patsy asking for the canvas in the basement. They both were in the basement, no big deal. But when you think about it one could have been in the basement and one in the garage or both in the garage. I have a gut feeling that the golf clubs could have very well been in the garage and then moved to the basement after the murder. Don't ask me why. It just seems more likely to take the clubs out of the car after use and store them in the garage. Then I go back to the thought that it was winter and they may have been moved down there until the weather was warmer. I have the feeling that at the time that JBR was hit with a golf club by Burke they were stored in the garage. I think that the "old" club found in the yard was used for putting practice. It may have been proped up somewhere and placed behind the bushes on purpose. That's another reason why I think the wound may have been caused by a club. Gads there is so much more. I'll come back after I start the sprinklers. [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 27. " SteveThomas (May. 09, 2000 09:13 PM) chebrock (read) Dear Chebrock, First, although I am only able to browse occasionally on the net because of time constraints, I enjoy the Justice Watch and CyberSlueths forums, and wanted to say I think you have been most insightful and have a good read on a lot of this case. I enjoy your posts (the ones I get to see), anyway. Regarding the ballbat question -- the second edition and paperback versions of the book will clarify a mistake that was made (probably due to my hurried handwriting when it was getting ready for printing). On the north side of the home, outside, during the crime scene search, was discovered a ballbat. On the west side of the home, was discovered a golf club with a hair on it (both discovered by Detective Idler). The hair was determined NOT to belong to JB, and the weathered golf club appeared to have been outside for some time. The ballbat does not to appear to have been the murder weapon, and may also have been outside for some time (although Mr Smit may disagree with me on this.)The detectives (without going into a lot of detail)did not feel either of these was the mruder weapon. "Ruthee" Posted by frankg on 15:02:04 7/13/2000 First, let me say I wish you, Mr Ruthee and your dad all the best. It can be a difficult time but at least it seems you know what your dealing with, and that helps. The unknown and unexpected are far worse. As for the instrument that caused the wound... as a golfer for over 37 years I gotta tell you I am just about positive a golf club could not have caused the wound. First, there is nothing on a club with enough mass to cause an 8" wound. The wound would be much shorter. The shaft of the club could not be involved in the injury. Second, I can't imagine striking someone with a club (any club, wood, iron, putter, etc) with enough force to fracture a skull and still not break the skin. I believe a flashlight *could* cause the injury although leverage would be difficult. A bat would be the obvious weapon IMO, although it's damn difficult to envision a scenario where a parent was swinging a bat at JonBenet... at least with a flashlight one can envision an accidental scenario with cover-up. I had not heard or read that quote about both the bat and club being found on different sides of the house previously. I do remember that there had been an injury with a club done to JBR by Burke sometime earlier, like months or weeks before her death. But I don't know which part of her body BR swung at.
