Isn't he the one who said the public had a lot of incorrect information? Is it possible he knew this because he had tossed part of it out there? : ) [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 76. "I recall a comment " Posted by FT on 20:12:21 8/19/2001 along the lines of "This poor baby fought for her life" made by a Dr. Cynthia something-or-other in one of the People magazine features on JonBenet. Unfortunately, I didn't save the magazine. [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 77. "Well, you know me" Posted by Watching you on 04:55:32 8/20/2001 haha, show me the evidence that proves she fought for her life. A little girl fighting for her life would have had visible evidence of that fact. I've seen nothing that would lead me to that conclusion; in fact, quite the contrary, everything I've read about the evidence in this case shows no sign of struggle on her part. Steve Thomas said there was no "flesh" under her nails. I believe him, even if others don't want to. It would be ludicrous for him to lie about something like that. It would be ludicrous for him to lie about any of the evidence. [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 79. "Evidence JonBenet fought for her life..." Posted by v_p on 06:11:00 8/20/2001 NOTE: This message was last edited 06:11:00, 8/20/2001 How hard could she have fought if she'd wanted to? Every time I look at a child who's around 6 I'm amazed at how small they are ... and how easily an adult could restrain them. The tape over her mouth and the ligatures on her wrists were staging... the tape showed no sign of a struggle. It really isn't worth arguing over, but I'm sure there's a reason for someone wanting others to believe she fought for her life... just don't know what that reason is. edited to correct html [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] Carion [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 1. "Fought for her life" Posted by driver on 06:53:51 8/20/2001 I believe I remember Dr. Susan Fortis (last name may not be spelled quite right) make this remark. However, I also noticed over the years how much misinformation has been stated by the so-called experts. ie They don't always do their homework. Dr. Susan Fortis is one who in the past seemed to lack either the preparation or familiarity with the cases on which she was invited to opine. Such was the case with JBR. there were several misspeaks by her regarding the facts. Anyhoo, that is by best remembrance. Our pal, Jerrilyn,is also another one that goes off half-cocked with an agenda as large as jams' lies. And when things get "hot" she just does that google search with her eyes. I really don't think we can hold the peripheral talking heads to the highest level re the knowledge and understanding of the facts. And, Larry King, God love him, asks questions that are so far out there and unthought out you just know he is swimming in the dark. I think the only information to be relied on is the official released information, and I wouldn't bet the farm on that either. "Whenever I have questions, Driver" Posted by Watching you on 07:02:53 8/20/2001 I go back to the autopsy report. Though JB's injuries were in fact brutal, there is no evidence she was severely beaten or tortured, although I'm not sure about that ligature around her neck - if that was used in some sick sexual game, that would be torture in my eyes. That question, though, is still up in the air and I don't know if we will ever know the truth about that. I have scoured that autopsy report, and I've not seen one thing that would lead me to believe JB fought - no hair in her hands that she may have pulled from the perp's head, no bruising on her hands or arms. Her wrists were apparently tied at one point, unless that was staging, of course, so how could she fight anyone? That autopsy report is still the best evidence. Talking heads love to muck it up, and the RST will always slant the facts. I've read about people who have fought for their lives - their fingernails are torn off to the quick, their hands and arms are bruised, they often hair tangled in their fists that they pulled out of their attackers head by the roots, they often carry the blood of their attackers. They often bite their attacker, leaving teeth marks in them. Their bodies show visible signs of that fight. There are no signs of that on JB. None. "Speaking of autopsy" Posted by Watching you on 07:08:40 8/20/2001 if you're not real squeamish, take a look at this autopsy picture of strangulation. Especially look at the two "stun gun marks" that aren't. http://uhsweb.edu/~lulo/lulo0002.htm [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 6.
