        where is the WOR?

        I went to check on what was going on and it is gone. How can the
        flaming place be so flaming that it would be vanquished? Ive seen some
        sh*t fly over there thru the years. More so than what was today. So
        what was the final straw? it was no worse than it ever was. Please do
        tell.

        luvs. I just checked. It's gone. 
        I had posted in the WOR this afternoon about being hopeful that we
        might all start getting along better and thanking Dun for her hard work.
        This was before checking out the "Pageants" threads.

        I have been gone all day and when I came back, I was appaled by the
        nastiness even if it was The WOR. Maybe it is a temporary measure
        until tempers cool off a bit?

        a problem with China's WOR tradition. If there are quarrels and no
        venue for venting, they will surely spill over to other areas. Not good.

        Dang! I didn't get to read it since 
        yesterday.

        Must discussions in the WOR be limited now
        to puppies and kittens, and the most intense remark allowed being

        "My dog can lick your dog!"?

        Sign me puzzled.

        ...I suppose that the "no holds barred" rules do have "some holds
        barred":

             Libel
             Defamation of Character
             Other such liabelous goings-on.

        Mainly, because of the state of cyberlaw as it stands today, it could
        get me sued. 

        Mind you...not the poster...but me, myself, and I sued. 

        As a matter of fact, I've already received a threat of possible legal
        action, copied to a certain horse-lovin' lawyer.

        Personally: I'd kinda like to reserve the opportunity to be sued for
        something far more productive than infractions of the above list.
