"Ideally" Posted by JR on 17:56:36 9/27/2001 During the course of their first year in school, students initial citizenship education should include the importance of following rules and respecting the rights of other people. They should learn the concepts of self-control, justice, courage, heroism, and leadership. They should be able to identify examples of honesty, courage, patriotism, and other admirable character traits and identify examples of rules and the consequences of breaking them. We are all long past our first year of school. Please, for the sake of justice for JonBenet, the sake of JW and for Dun's sake in trying to continue to provide us with a place to seek justice for this little girl and others who have been harmed, let's all take three deep breaths and get back to the real reason we are here. "Yeah, preach it" Posted by janphi on 18:03:57 9/27/2001 Why don't you START by apologizing to those of us on the forum whom YOU have bashed, JR? Why is it always so important to you to try to appear "perfect" and "saintly" to others on this forum, while telling everyone else how they should behave, according to you? We have House Rules; we don't need YOUR blather. Can it. [ REMOVE ] [ ALERT ] [ EDIT ] [ REPLY ] [ REPLY WITH QUOTE ] [ TOP ] [ MAIN ] 2. Posted by Dunvegan on 18:29:31 9/27/2001 NOTE: This message was last edited 18:29:31, 9/27/2001 Offer the evidence or stop the attacks. NOW. I never meant anything by typing your name in incorrectly...I still almost always subconsciously see the phonetics of that name as "jamphy"...that is how I see the name in my mind. I never slam anyone for mispelling my name, Dunvegan is not obvious, well-known, or intutive unless you live in Scotland. Even my RL name Leia is endlessly misspelled. No one gets it right the first, second, or fifth time. All I do is smile and re-spell it for them. I never once in my life snapped at someone for mispelling my name and said they were attacking me. Whatever is your problem...REALLY. As I have said, disruptive posters, with no reason or rhyme for their disruptions will be deleted starting tonight. Post your proof.
